Dr. Robert Brooks

This free lecture and book signing are designed for parents, grandparents, teachers, professionals, and anyone else who cares for, or works with, children in grades K-12.  

Dr. Brooks is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and author on the topics of self-esteem, motivation, resilience, and family relations. He is also a clinical psychologist on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. In his presentation, “Raising Resilient Children and Adolescents,” Dr. Brooks will describe how children and adolescents can learn to deal with stress and develop resiliency. He will also outline specific strategies that parents and adults can use to nurture responsibility, hope, kindness, and resilience in children and adolescents.
